Baja, Mexico

Retreat

February 2-7, 2025

$3200 per person, shared occupancy

Join us for a mid winter break in mountain biking paradise!

Join us for a six-day, five-night retreat on the breathtaking Baja peninsula and soak in the bountiful sunshine and warmth in Mexico this winter. Ride private, professionally built mountain bike trails with Ladies AllRide coaches and local guides! This retreat is all about riding amazing trails, exploring the local culture, refining skills, sitting by the pool, jumping in the ocean, bonding over bikes and enjoying farm to table meals.

Our retreats are designed for intermediate to advanced riders. It’s a bonus if you have attended a Ladies AllRide camp or have had other professional mountain bike instruction. Retreats are more about getting out and riding the local trails with skills lessons mixed in. Daily rides will range from 12-20 miles.

We will be staying just outside the town of El Sargento at Rancho Cacachilas, a regenerative eco ranch, that will be our basecamp. We will be “glamping” at the eco ranch. Your palapa will be shared with 1-2 other riders and include normal beds. If you are ready to immerse in nature for the week, ride world class trails, eat farm to table meals and enjoy the quiet serenity of Baja, this retreat is for you. Surrounded by endemic nature, adventure activities and a strong regenerative mission, we are excited to share this experience with you!

Rancho Cacachilas is located about 50 minutes from the La Paz International Airport and about 2.5 hours from the Los Cabos International airport.

While we will provide some on trail coaching opportunities when we encounter technical features, the overall focus is on riding and milage)

  • Our retreats are designed for intermediate to advanced riders. It is a bonus if you have attended a Ladies AllRide camp or have had other professional mountain bike instruction. While there will be some skills development, retreats are very focused on riding the local trails. Daily rides range from 12-20 miles.

Riders should be able to ride 12-20 miles per day for consecutive days in a row. The daily rides will have 1000-2000 ft of elevation gain.

  • Scroll Down for the retreat schedule outline. Registered participants will be sent a detailed event schedule closer to the event.

    • Fly with your bike! The best airlines that consider bikes part of your normal checked luggage allowance are: Alaska Airlines, Delta, and United. Be sure to read the airlines details on this as your bag often needs to be 50lbs or under.

    • Don’t want to fly with you bike? Bikes may be rented for an additional charge. Limited availability and size range. Please reserve early. You will be able to reserve a bike when you register.

    • If you travel with your bike, please be prepared to assemble your own bike. There will be coaches and ranch staff to lend a hand or answer a question, but the assembly will be your responsibility. It will also be your responsibility to break down your bike at the end of the retreat.

  • For an additional $175 you can add on one of two prearranged shared shuttle times.

We will have two prearranged times on the arrival day, February 2nd, and the departure day, February 7th, from Los Cabos Airport (SJD). Exact times will be determined closer to the event. Approximate times are 2pm and 5pm on arrival day, February 2nd and 6am and 10am return shuttles on departure day on February 7th. This will be a group pick up/drop off.
