How do I make sure I get a spot in the camp I want to attend?
We will announce registration to our newsletter subscribers and social media a week prior to opening registration for the whole year. Last year most camps sold out in a few hours to a few weeks, so be ready to sign up when registration opens.
How does the waitlist work?
When you sign up to the waitlist, you are added in order. If we get a cancellation, we email the first person on the list and then we continue down the list as needed.
Who is allowed to attend?
We encourage any person 18 years old and over who identifies as female to join our events!
I'm brand new to mountain biking, is this camp for me?
Absolutely! We teach all levels of riders. Each rider will fill out a questionnaire about riding ability and goals during registration. We love introducing women to the sport!
Will this camp be challenging enough if I am an advanced technical rider?
Definitely! We group participants by skill level and interests, so whether you are looking to increase speed, fine tune your skills, or be more playful, our talented coaches can help.
Are your camps ebike friendly?
We love ebikes! Although many of our locations still don’t allow them. Hood River, OR, Bentonville, AR and our retreates are the events that allow ebikes at this time.
Will the camp be held in the rain?
Yes. The show goes on rain, snow or shine. Bring your rain gear!
What should I bring to a skills camp?

I am attending a camp at a downhill resort. Do I need a full-face helmet and pads?
Yes! We require all participants to wear a full-face helmet and pads when riding the lift-accessed trails. When practicing skills and using the xc trails participants can choose to wear their regular half shell helmet. We offer a limited number of full face demo helmets to use for the weekend that you can reserve HERE. If we do not have your size left you can rent a helmet and pads directly from the resort. You will want to reserve these items in advance to ensure the resort has them ready for you.
Why are some camps $550 and others $575?
All of the camps that we host at downhill resorts are $575. Because of the cost of lift tickets, which we provide for you, the price is slightly increased to cover this cost. Do you have a current season pass and don’t need lift tickets? Send us an email at info@ladiesallride.com and we can provide you with a $25 credit. Proof of season pass is required.
What's the daily schedule like?

Is there demo equipment provided?
Yes, we will have Liv bikes, Liv Shuttle Shoes, G-Form pads, Crankbrothers pedals and Smith helmets for demo at the event (free of charge). We have limited quantities of each, so it is first come, first served.

What is an education station?
At our Signature Camps and Downhill Camps after trail time ends, ladies have the option to attend two 20-minute education stations about anything from changing a flat tire, fixing a chain, setting up suspension, to nutrition talks and body positioning slideshow.
Can I be with my friend(s) during the camp?
Yes, when you complete the pre-camp skills assessment there's a question at the end asking if there's anything else you want us to know. You can request to be with friends here. However, please keep in mind we may not be able to accommodate all requests. We will always prioritize grouping based on skill similarities in order to make groups as cohesive as possible. If you really want to be with your friend(s), we will put you in a group that moves at the pace of the least experienced rider.
Is lodging provided?
Although lodging is not included in the price of the clinic, we do provide lodging suggestions and often have discounts available from our lodging partners. Check the specific camp's page for details. *The Flathead Lake Lodge Retreat does include lodging.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, a healthy, filling lunch is provided at our downhill and signature camps. Snacks are provided at our mini camps. All food is provided at our retreats.
What if I have food allergies?
We accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan requests (but not combinations of multiple dietary requests). Due to logistics, we cannot accommodate other requests. If we cannot meet your dietary needs, feel free to bring along your own lunch. Our retreat can accommodate some additional dietary needs, please inquire.

Should I wear underwear under my chamois? What is a chamois?
NO! A chamois should be worn alone to prevent chaffing. If you prefer underwear, then don't wear a chamois. Chamois are padded cycling shorts worn alone, or under baggy shorts for more protection, comfort and style.
What are Grit Clinics?

Should we tip our Coaches?
Tips are not expected but they are always appreciated!
Do I need a full face helmet?
We do not require full-face helmets. Our Grand Targhee, WY, Burke Mountain, VT and Whitefish Mountain, MT camps have lift-access riding and full-face helmets are recommended if you are interested in more advanced skills in the bike park. We will have a limited number of full-face helmets to demo. If you bring a full-face with you, also bring your open-face helmet for morning skills and drills.
Do you offer Scholarships?
Yes, we do offer full and partial scholarships. We are very proud to have an excellent scholarship program supported by the Women Of Oz NWA which allows those with economic barriers to attend our camps. If you need financial assistance in order to attend the camp, please fill out a scholarship application. We provided 35 full and partial scholarships in 2019 alone! Check out all the details here.
What bike should I bring to a camp?
A good mountain bike can make all of the difference in learning new skills and feeling more confident on the trails. Make sure your bike is the proper size for you and is well maintained (schedule a tune-up a few days prior to the camp). We suggest a dual suspension cross country or all-mountain bike for a more comfortable ride, but front suspension only bikes work fine.
Seat information: To maximize your fun and safe learning during the camp we highly recommend that you can lower your seat post to get your saddle at least 3" out of your way while learning certain skills. We think the best option for this is a dropper post (like a Rockshox Reverb) which can move up and down with a button or lever at your fingertips. Another acceptable option is to have a quick release seat collar (as opposed to bolt-on) that allows you to easily and quickly drop and raise your seat. If you do not have a quick release seat post, please carry a multi-tool so you can lower/raise your seat throughout the clinic.
Downhill bikes, cross bikes, e-bikes and road bikes are not suitable for our clinics. And your bike should not have a kickstand on it.
