Over 100 miles of fast and flowy trails

The Kingdom Trails have over 100 miles of interconnected mountain bike trails, mostly single track, traveling through pine forests, maple tree groves, alongside rivers, up and down hills and mountains.  The views are majestic and often include wildlife.  But it's the dirt that makes this place extra dreamy. With great soil and drainage, the trails stay dry and tacky. Most of the riding is smooth, fast and flowy, but you can find plenty of technical trails too.

This camps is held at the magical Wildflower Inn where we will spend the morning working on perfecting skills using a large grassy area, a mountain bike-specific skills area and nearby trails. Each afternoon we ride to the vast Kingdom Trails network to shred single track!

More Information

  • This is a “cross-country” focused camp with pedaling up and descending down fun, well-built trails with lots of corners. The Kingdom trails are fairly smooth with small roots and some rocks, but they are spread out.

This camp is great for all levels of riders, especially newer riders because the trail system is fairly mellow (meaning not super steep or technical) and tons of fun. There will be an ample amount of pedaling so it is advised to have a little base fitness and stamina for the camp, keeping in mind the trail sessions are not “hammer-fests” because we stop frequently to practice on challenging features.

*Note, if you are an advanced rider who has specific goals like “bigger jumps and drops” we suggest taking a private lesson with one of our coaches at a location that caters to bigger jumps and drops. Email info@gritclinics.com for more info.

Also please note electronic pedal-assist bikes are NOT allowed on trails in Vermont.

"Today was my first post-clinic ride and I cannot believe the difference in my riding! First, I wasn't far behind my husband for once. Second, you've turned me into a real mountain biker! Third, I was jumping over rocks just for fun! Thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new world!"
